AFE STAGE 2 COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM

aFe is proud to introduce the all new Magnum Force Stage 2 XP intake system for the 2017 Silverado HD/Sierra HD [L5P] diesel trucks with the v8-6.6L Duramax diesel engine. In recent testing this system outflowed the factory intake. This highly engineered system uses a powder coated, heat shielded airbox with a one piece intake tube. Handlling filtration duties is one of aFe Power’s very own specialty performance filters. 

The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube adapts to the stock intake elbow making it easier for installation. The tube is also engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance. Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle-free installation.

One Piece Powder-Coated Steel Heatshield:
A one-piece powder-coated steel heatshield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense.

Huge 5″ Flange 360 Degree Air Filter:
A huge inverted cone 360 degree radial flow air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6% efficient).

The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.

The Pro-GUARD 7 performance filter features 5 layers of progressive cotton media with 2 layers of progressive synthetic media providing 99.7% cumulative efficiency for maximum filtration.

The Pro DRY S oil free filter features a 3 layer progressively finer porosity synthetic media for maximum convenience with excellent filtration and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. Yes, this “DRY S” filter is a cleanable filter that is designed to work without the use of oil.

Roto-Molded Tube:
Rotomolded intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance. The tube connects to the stock intake elbow for added convenience and quicker installation.

Hassle-Free Installation:
aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations minimizing the use of hardware.
