The Co-Pilot for the 4R-100 transmission (1999-2003 Ford Powerstroke) gives you full control over the torque converter clutch and an exhaust brake. The Co-pilot unlike the Commander looks at engine load, throttle position and vehicle speed to calculate the optimal timing of the torque converter and exhaust brake operation.
Features include:
– Load sensitive line pressure control.
– Torque converter clutch control that is adjustable on the fly.
– Intelligent Logic which brings in the torque converter clutch only under optimal operating conditions.
System comes complete with wiring harness and detailed instructions.
