Description
BD Diesel’s Duramax Balancing Big Bore Exhaust Manifold makes it easy for your engine to exhale. Due to designing an engine to fit multiple applications the left/drivers side exhaust manifold is restricted to allow better steering shaft clearance. The result is poor exhaust flow from the front 3 cylinders on the left side. At stock horsepower it is acceptable but with modifications to engine tuning, air intake, and exhaust it leaves the engine working hard to push exhaust flow out of the left side of the motor, so in comes the BD Big Bore Manifold.
STOCK MANIFOLD
- Only flows 80% of the passenger side manifold.
- 3 cylinders only operate at 80% capacity & load others down.
- No access to measure exhaust temperature.
BD MANIFOLD
- Flow matches the passenger side manifold and balances the engines exhaust pressure.
- Maintains consistent exhaust pressure and temperature on both sides of the engine.
- Contains Exhaust temperature probe port.
